Information:
Kirby's Return to Dream Land has been a game in the making, as news of it began as far back as E3 2005 when a trailer for a Kirby game on the GameCube was revealed, but sadly that game never made it out to market as the GameCube soon began to fail, and the Wii was coming very soon. But the game lives on in Return to Dream Land as many of the ideas in the trailer back at E3 were actually implemented in this game.
Kirby's Return to Dream Land is considered by many to be the first real Kirby game on a home console in over a decade, as Air Ride was not a true action adventure game, and Epic Yarn many people considered to be a slightly different twist on the game as it was not originally a Kirby game, and that you cannot fly or die in it. This game was also the 3rd game to be a 4-player game throughout the whole game, and is the first game were you can actually play as King Dedede and Waddle Dee. (This is not counting Canvas Curse as they did not massively change the game as they can in Return to Dream Land)
It is also good to note that this game take after Kirby Adventure in many ways such as the level selection system. Kirby's Return to Dream Land has much more to offer and many new ability's, no Kirby fan should miss this one!
Energy Spheres
Gears are collectables (called Energy Spheres in the game) that unlock new things in Magolor's ship, such as Mini-Games and Challenge Stages. They are also required to get 100% in the game. Magolor will also share some special information after you get all 120.
Level 1 - Cookie Country
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (1/120)
In the 2nd Room, after you open the door, it is required to proceed on in the game.
Gears - 2&3 (3/120)
In the 3rd room get the Sword Ultra ability, make it to where there are a bunch of Waddle Dees and star blocks below them (right before the exit) break them to reveal a portal to Another Dimension, make it to the end of the Another Dimension and defeat the Sphere Doomer to receive both of them.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (4/120)
In the 3rd Room pick up the Cracker (the cannon looking thing) and then continue until there are metal blocks on the ceiling, break those and then fly up to grab the Gear.
Gear - 2 (5/120)
In the 4th room climb all the way to the top to the tree and walk to the right pass the door, It is up in the very corner of the tree.
Gear - 3 (6/120)
In the 5th room beat the Mini Boss (Gigant Edge) and take his Sword ability. Then proceed and cut down the rope from that is holding the metal platform then fly up to the Gear.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (7/120)
In the 2nd room when you reach the door at the bottom do not go through it instead go below the platform on it to grab the Gear.
Gear - 2 (8/120)
In the 4th room go past the moving platforms and grab the Key, then take the Key back across the moving platforms to the door on the other side where the Gear is located.
Gear - 3 (9/120)
In the 5th room stop the Carry Dee holding a key from falling off the cliff and take the key a bit further to the right to unlock a door with the next Gear in it.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (10/120)
In the 1st room when you come to the ladder heading up, instead of going up go straight into a cave that leads to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (11/120)
In the 3rd room make it to where you are to climb a ladder, instead press the button to release the Puppet Waddle Dees, defeat them and then grab the Gear they were guarding. (Note: It is best to use the Prism Shield (The French horn) to defeat them.)
Gears - 3&4 (13/120)
In the 4th room get the Monster Flame ability, then make your way to the giant tree, break it with the Monster Flame ability to reveal a portal to Another Dimension, go in and make your way to the end and defeat the Sphere Doomer to receive both Gears.
Level 2 - Raisin Ruins
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (14/120)
In the 2nd room use the Cannon to get launched to the room where the Gear is located.
Gear - 2 (15/120)
In the 3rd room after the 3rd rock falls keep close to it another rock will fall behind it stay in between the two and at the end don't jump up to go to the door, instead continue to get the Gear and then jump up.
Gear - 3 (16/120)
In the 6th room defeat Bonkers and take his Hammer ability then use it on the metal blocks to open up a way to grab the Gear.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (17/120)
In the 2nd Room about half way down there is a stake sticking out of the ground. Use Hammer or Rock Kirby to pound it in. Go through the door and then Hammer the 2nd stake to make a path to the Gear, but note that you must fly up as it will attempt to cut you off, this can be attempted again if you exit and reenter the door.
Gear - 2 (18/120)
In the 3rd room continue until you come to a large body of water, go in it and swim until you come to a door go in it. Inside hit the top bomb block to open a path to the Gear.
Gears - 3&4 (20/120)
In the 6th room eat the Waddle Doo to get the Flare Beam ability, then make it to the room with a bunch of tiki heads surrounding it use it on the ones to the left to reveal the portal to Another Dimension. Go through it and make it to a defeat the Sphere Doomer to get both Gears.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (21/120)
In the 3rd room about half way up there is a large block next to a moving platform. Use a super suck to suck it in and go through grab the Tornado ability and go right then up to get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (22/120)
In the 4th room grab the Hi-Jump power and use it, when you can jump in 3 different paths jump in the middle one, the Gear will be in that path.
Gear - 3 (23/120)
In the 5th room defeat King Doo and take his Beam ability, then proceed until you come across a blocks with a bomb block in the middle and a life in the bottom use beam to break the bomb block and reveal a Gear.
Gear - 4 (24/120)
In the 6th room use the cannons when the cannons can send you in 3 different ways straight up use the right one to go straight up and it will send you right next to the Gear.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (25/120)
In the 2nd room get the Bomb ability and use it to access the secret room (the one with an orange star) lay a bomb next to the switch and then run down when it blows up it will hit the switch and open the door allowing you inside where the Gear is.
Gear - 2 (26/120)
In the 3rd room grab the Candle and proceed until you see the Gear just floating in darkness you will have to go down and past it and then when you go back up go back towards it and then you will see some blocks above you through the Candle at them to break them fly up and then go below the platform to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (27/120)
In the 5th room proceed until you see get the Invisibility Stone this will allow you to go through clear looking walls. Proceed until you see a door behind a clear wall go through the door. Inside there will be another clear wall go through it and get the Gear.
Gears - 4&5 (29/120)
In the 6th room get the Ultra Sword ability use it to cut down the ropes in the room with the Scarfys to reveal a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to the end and defeat the Sphere Doomer inside to get both Gears.
Level 3 - Onion Ocean
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (30/120)
In the 4th room you will see a bomb block inside a part of the ceiling that is hanging down. Break it to open up a door. Go through the door and go down and grab the Key run forward and press both buttons to reveal two platforms to allow you to climb up to the Gear.
Gears - 2&3 (32/120)
In the 5th room get the Snow Bowl ability and use it to roll over all the sand castles. Make it to the 6th room and roll over the giant sand castle to reveal the Portal to a Alternate Dimension, go through and make it to a defeat the Sphere Doomer to get the Gears.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (33/120)
In the 2nd room defeat Kibble Blade and take his Cutter ability, go forward and you will come to a platform hanging with by a rope cut it down and go down into the water and go left and break a few blocks to get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (34/120)
In the 3rd room get the Spear ability from one of the Pierces then proceed until you see a rock with a button under it use the spear ability from the right side of the block to press the button to reveal a door. Go through the door and hit the 3 bomb blocks and defeat the enemies to get to the Gear.
Gear - 3 (35/120)
In the 4th room get the 2nd Stomper Boot (there are 2 places to get it you need the 2nd one as the first one will break) and make your way to the 3 Bronto Burts use them to climb up to a giant yellow block and break it to reveal a second door. Go through the door and you will be in 5th room on the left side (the other door leads to the right) the Gear will be directly above you.
Gear - 4 (36/120)
In the 5th room you will come to a place where a Barbars will try to eat you, but there are breakable blocks above him that lead to the Gear. Slowly break them while avoiding getting eaten and you will get the Gear.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (37/120)
In the 4th room defeat Moundo and take his Rock ability, the go forward and you will see 3 blocks above a pool of water use your rock ability to turn into a rock and go down. The rock will not be affected by the water pushing up and will sink right down to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (38/120)
In the 5th room go up the water way and take the 3rd path (the one on the right) it will lead you to the Gear.
Gears - 3&4 (40/120)
In the 7th room get the Monster Flame ability and then make it to where there is an octopus hiding under a sunken ship. Use the Monster Flame ability on the octopus to reveal a Portal to a Another Dimension, go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to get both Gears.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (41/120)
In the 2nd room you will come to a place where you can go up or down but going up is blocked by a bomb block, break the bomb block and go up and go through. Press the button to drop all the Puppet Waddle Dees into the water then pull the lever to have the Key drop. Jump over the button grab the Key then open the door to grab the Gear.
Gear - 2 (42/120)
In the 3rd room you will come to a door the leads to a room spilt in half on the left side is Candy, on the right side is a Gear. Get the candy and then exit the room and go around and on the other side of the rock where the door with the Candy was is another door hidden by sea weed go through break the bomb blocks and defeat all the Barracu to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (43/120)
In the 4th room go up once you come to the part where the spiky shell is chasing you for the 2nd time find a place to duck down at the bottom of the screen and then follow it. It will break the metal blocks and reveal another Gear.
Gear - 4 (44/120)
In the 5th room there will be Balloon Bombs that you can carry the blow up stuff they will get bigger the longer you hold them. You will need to get the 2nd Balloon Bomb and take it to the giant yellow blocks. Throw it at them to blow it up and give you access to the Gear.
Gear - 5 (45/120)
In the 6th room get the Spear ability and keep it. You will come across a lot of Giant Barbars. Make it pass them and you will come to an area with a ton of normal sized Barbars, go up and you will come to a some blocks keeping the Gear from you. Use your Spear ability to reach the bomb block and open the path to the Gear.
Level 4 - White Wafers
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (46/120)
In the 1st room get the Fire ability in one of the igloos, in the next igloo use the Fire ability to break the ice blocks to get in and then use it to go down to where the Gear is located.
Gear - 2 (47/120)
In the 3rd use the cannons to get to the point where 3 spikey guys block your path, shoot up to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (48/120)
In the 3rd room not long after where the 2nd gear was located you will come to a point where you will have 4 places you can shoot. Shoot down and left to go to a cannon you can control, shoot down and right to get into a cannon that will shoot you underneath part of the area. It will take you to a door that leads to room 4s lower half. Along this path you will come to the Gear.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (49/120)
In the 2nd room get the Fire ability proceed forward and you will see a fuse sticking out of the ceiling light it and then make it to the cannon before the fuse dose. It will send you to a room, press the button and get to the other side of the door that is open, jump up and get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (50/120)
In the 3rd room grab the shoe and go forward and break the large Yellow Block not far away to reveal a door go through the door and use the Mopoos to jump up to the top (like a stair case) and then break the large yellow blocks to get the Gear.
Gears - 3&4 (52/120)
Defeat Super Bonkers to get the Grand Hammer ability proceed forward and defeat the giant Jack in the Box like enemy to reveal a portal to Another Dimension, go through and Defeat the Sphere Doomer to get the Gears.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (53/120)
In the 1st room get the spear ability, in the 2nd room make it to the place where a spikey shell is stuck, use the spear downward to hit the button and a platform will push the shell up and then it will move down to reveal a Gear.
Gear - 2 (54/120)
In the 3rd room get the Invisibility Stone and use it to go through the rolling ice balls. Proceed forward and get the Fire ability and then climb up the ladder to another ladder covered with ice, put down the Stone and use the Fire ability to get rid of the ice, then grab the Invisibility Stone and head up the ladder, take the bottom path (the one with the invisible wall) and go through the ice balls and you will eventually come to the Gear.
Gear - 3 (55/120)
In the 4th room get the cutter ability and proceed forward until you see a door with a Metal platform hanging by a rope use Cutters powered up boomerang to cut it (you can control where it goes!) Make sure you are not under the platform as it will instant kill you. Go through the door and use cutters charged boomerang again to hit the switch and drop the giant ice ball, then fly up and get the Gear.
Gear - 4 (56/120)
In the 5th room defeat Water Galboros and take his Water ability then grab the Key and put it on the platform with a Waddle Dee on it. Use your Water ability to hit the button and raise the platform that you and the Key are on pick up the Key and get off before it goes back down. Use the Key to open the door and then break the bomb block to reveal the Gear.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (57/120)
In the 2nd room there is a cannon along the path, be careful not to pass it as the wind is very strong. Get in it and it will shoot you right up to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (58/120)
In the 4th room beat the Carry Dee to the end where he will waste the Key on a door with Scarfys. Take his Key and go down to a door below the Scarfys and open the other door to get the Gear.
Gears - 3&4 (60/120)
In the 5th room get the Snow Bowl ability and make it to the part where there is a giant snow ball stuck in a hole use the Snow Bowl ability on it to create a snowman. The snowman will then blow up and reveal a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to get the Gears.
Stage 5
Gear - 1 (61/120)
Note: In this level consider that you enter a new room each time you go through a door with 3 yellow stars above it.
In room 3 get the Cracker and then watch closely to see where there is a secret door along the floor (It is between two moving Ice Cubes it will appear and disappear) go through and then use the Cracker to get rid of all the meta blocks and make a path to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (62/120)
In the 3rd room get the Fire ability in the 4th room there will be some ice, melt it with your Fire ability to reveal a door. Break the bomb block and it will let you through but then try to block you off. Go up to avoid it blocking you off the 1st time, down through the platform the 2nd and up again the 3rd time. Then make it through the entrance to the Gear before it closes off.
Gear - 3 (63/120)
In the 6th room grab the Candle and go forward you will eventually come to a place where you have to go up, but do not continue right instead break the ice to the left (this can be done with the Candle) to reveal a door, go through it. Get the Ice ability and freeze a Mopoo and then push it forward to hit the button to break the blocks allowing you to get the Gear.
Gear - 4 (64/120)
In the 7th room grab the Key and go forward avoiding the Scarfys when you come to the point where you can open 2 doors, open the one on the left to give you access to the Gear and another Key.
Level 5 - Nutty Noon
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (65/120)
In the 3rd room go up, not to long latter you will come to a door go through and you will see the Gear not too far away, be careful with the falling platforms and avoid or get rid of the Comos.
Gear - 2 (66/120)
In the 4th room if you watch carefully there will be an opening in the ceiling at a certain point go up and you will see a door bellow a platform being held by a vine cut it down with a ability that can cut rope. (Wing, Sword, Spear, and Cutter all cut rope and are all offered in this level.) It will be directly to your left, just be careful of the falling platforms.
Gear - 3 (67/120)
In the 5th room you will come to a part right before the door to the next room where you are going straight up. Along the way on the left there will be a little path partly hidden go there and fly straight up to get the Gear.
Gear - 4 (68/120)
In the 6th room you will at one point be trapped between 2 spike balls, a big one behind you and a small one in front. Stay in-between the two. The small one will hit a button and close a path to the Gear, but you can go through the top, just make sure you do it before the big one gets there as it will close off that path.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (69/120)
In the 2nd room grab the Balloon Bomb and carry it to the metal and big yellow block and blow it up. Go through the door it reveals and get the Bomb ability if you do not already have it. Step on the switch to open the door, you will need to through a bomb and hit the bomb block to get access to the Gear. Aim a bit up from the default and you should hit it. Then go down the path that has opened and grab the Gear.
Gear - 2 (70/120)
In the 4th room Defeat Moundo and take the Stone ability. Then in the next part of the stage pound in the 1st 2 stakes to open a path, pounding the 3rd will prevent you from getting the Gear. Go down the hole and to the left to get the Gear.
Gears - 3&4 (72/120)
In the 5th room get the Flare Beam ability, use it on the 3rd set of buttons to light them all up and open a path down. Go down and you will come to another place where you can use it to light up the buttons, this time it will reveal a path to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to get both Gears.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (73/120)
In the 3rd room you will be racing a Carry Dee down, make it to the bottom first to get the Key and open the door directly in front of you containing the Gear. If you do not make it in time the Carry Dee will be dropped to its death.
Gear - 2 (74/120)
In the 4th room you will see some unbreakable blocks with a bomb block behind it. Get the Beam ability and use it to hit the bomb block and give you access to the hidden door. Inside the room avoid the white Pactos to make it to a lever and give you access to the Gear.
Gear - 3 (75/120)
In the 5th room get the Hi-Jump ability, not to far up you will see the Gear. You will have to press the button and then Hi-Jump to the lever, pull it, fall down before the button is released, then jump and then Hi-Jump into the area the Gear is. Just make sure you don't do a regular jump after the button and do a regular jump after pulling the lever.
Gear - 4 (76/120)
In the 7th room go right just a few steps and fly up, the Gear is right there hidden behind some clouds.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (77/120)
In the 1st room get the 2nd Stomper Boot and make it to where the big Yellow Block is, break it and go down and jump on the Gordo and make your way across to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (78/120)
In the 2nd room not to far in it is located in-between two Gigatzo. Just drop down to get it, just be careful and not get hit by their fire balls.
Gear - 3&4 (80/120)
In the 3rd room defeat Super Bonkers and get the Grand Hammer ability. In the 4th room use it on all of the giant stakes to help you get down. One of them will take you up on an elevator. Then use it on the giant spring to send Kirby flying up and causing him to destroy a bell, which will reveal a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to get both Gears.
Stage 5
Gear - 1 (81/120)
In the 3rd room defeat Gigant Edge and take his sword ability, use it to cut down the rope holding the platform in the 4th room to get to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (82/120)
In the 6th room defeat Moundo and take his Stone ability, use it in the 7th room to break the metal blocks, allowing you to get to the Gear.
Gear - 3 (83/120)
In the 9th room defeat Water Galborus and take his Water ability, use it to cool the lava blocks in the 10th room and grant you access to the Gear.
Gear - 4 (84/120)
In the 12th room defeat Dubior and take his Spark ability, in the 13th room use its lightning strike ability (jump + down + 1) to hit the bomb block and give you access to the Gear.
Level 6 - Egg Engines
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (85/120)
In the 3rd room you will come to a point where you will be able to time when you go through a crusher, and a door will be below you, time it so when it closes you hit it and can go down into the door. In the other room get in the cannon at the bottom and time your shot to hit the moving piece of metal, you will then be able to fly up and get the Gear.
Gears - 2&3 (87/120)
In the 6th room get the Monster Flame ability and make it to where there is a giant bomb, use it to blow it up. This will reveal a portal to Another Dimension, go through. Make it to the Sphere Doomer and defeat the Sphere Doomer to receive both Gears.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (88/120)
In the 5th room get the Water or ice ability, then go into the 6th room, one of the moving platforms moves you up to some fire blocks break them to get access to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (89/120)
In the 7th room get the Stone ability, take it to the 8th room and make to the area with the Gear covered by metal blocks, go up avoiding the moving spiky machines and you will find an air pocket, use your stone ability to go down and break the metal blocks and get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (90/120)
In the 11th room defeat Dubior and take his Spark ability. In the 12th room you will have to use its Thunderbolt ability (up + 1) to hit bomb blocks, you need to hit the 3rd one to get the Gear.
Gear - 4 (91/120)
In the 13th room pull the lever right at the beginning to get a Key, carry the Key to the end of the room where the door is. Open the door to get the Gear.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (92/120)
In the 2nd room proceed with caution as the wind will be blowing you, there is a lever along the way that will open a path to the Gear, and put some blocks in the way to allow you to go up and get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (93/120)
In the 4th room there will be a platform that is falling down slowly, about half through the platform is the Gear in-between 2 parts of it, get to it before it goes off the bottom of the screen.
Gears - 3&4 (95/120)
In the 5th room get the Flare Beam ability, make it to the 6th room, in this room use it to light up all the buttons, this will make the platform you are on go down and open a light gate and move a part of the stage to reveal a portal to Another Dimension. Go through it and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (96/120)
In the 2nd room get the Candle and then find the location of the Hammer ability star then go forward a bit more, you will come to a point where you will see some metal blocks surrounding the Gear. Put the Candle down and use your Hammer ability to break the blocks and get to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (97/120)
In the 2nd room, pass the first exit door, there will be a water path that leads you to another door, this will take you to the bottom part of the 3rd room, the Gear is along this path, just don't pass it with the water current.
Gear - 3 (98/120)
In the 4th room defeat Kibble Blade and take his Cutter ability. Then go forward you will see a button on the other side of some water. The best way to get it is to go back where there is more ceiling space and face the opposite direction and through a boomerang, jump over it as it comes back and it should hit the button and reveal the Gear.
Gear - 4 (99/120)
In the 5th room it is a mini maze, when you have the option to go down or go right to the door, go down, it will take you to the Gear.
Gear - 5 (100/120)
In the 6th room you will come to a part with a Giant Barbar, and he will be right in front of a door, go through it into a hidden room, get the Spark ability, and use it to get the Candle and then use the Candle to see what you would get if you open the path above, one will have a Key get it and then open the door to get the Gear.
Stage 5
Gear - 1 (101/120)
In the 2nd room there will be falling platforms the 5th one will have a Gear come down with it, it will be its own separate opening on the left.
Gear - 2 (102/120)
In the 3rd room there will be an Armored Waddle Dee hiding a secret door. Inside that room grab the Key on the left and drop it on to the moving conveyor belts, then fly over to the other side and grab it before it falls off the edge, use it to open the door to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (103/120)
In the 4th room there will be more falling platforms it will be in the 3rd set right in the middle you will have to fly straight up really fast to get it.
Gear - 4 (104/120)
In the 5th room get the Invisibility Stone, then proceed forward there will be a invisible wall you can walk through there will be a lever on top pull it to open a path to the Gear.
Gear - 5 (105/120)
In the 6th room it is yet another falling platform room, in the 4th set it will be in the 3rd area of falling platforms, grab it as fast as you can and exit the room for your own safety.
Level 7 - Dangerous Dinner
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (106/120)
In the 2nd room you will come to a part where the lava rocks are falling down at you, along the path to avoid them is a Key, make sure to get this. Once you are past the lava rocks there will be a locked door straight above you open it to get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (107/120)
In the 3rd room defeat Water Galboros and take his Water ability, you will then come across a Key, get it and surf over the lava to the other side where the door is located, open it and head through to the secret room, use your Water ability to harden the lava blocks and create a path up to the Gear. Grab the Key and take it up to the door and unlock it to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (108/120)
In the 4th room make it to the part where there is a bomb block surrounding metal blocks, hit the bomb block to reveal a hidden door. Inside the screen will be split into upper and lower, the lower half containing a Carry Dee, you will have to press the buttons properly to make sure he makes it to the end. Press the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th (with good timing), and the 7th (with good timing) to get him to a point where you can get the Key from him, then jump over the hole and open the door to get the Gear.
Gears - 4&5 (110/120)
In the 5th room get the Snow Bowl ability, make it to the very top of the room to find a volcano, use the Snow Bowl ability on that to make it freeze and destroy the volcano revealing a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to both Gears.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (111/120)
In the 1st room on the way down the Gear will be surrounded by Degout. Be careful trying to get it, as they cannot be sucked up.
Gear - 2 (112/120)
In the 2nd room get the Ninja ability, along the way you will see some flowing lava with some gaps and a secret door on the other side, this lava is actually in front of where Kirby is so you can fly behind it into the hidden room. In the room fly to the top and grab on to the wall you will have to throw a knife to cut the rope releasing the metal platform which will hit the button and open the way to the Gear.
Gear - 3 (113/120)
In the 3rd room get the Hi-Jump ability, not to far up there will be a path on the left with a ladder and one on the right with walls that can crush you, you will have to Hi-Jump the right side to get to the Gear.
Gears - 4&5 (115/120)
In the 6th room defeat Super Bonkers and take the Grand Hammer ability make it to the 3rd set of wires, hit them in place to reveal a secret path down, take it. You will come to a statue with 4 fire pipes on it, hit them all in to make a giant one at the top lose its crystal protection, hit that one to make the rest of the statue fall down and reveal a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to get both Gears.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (116/120)
In the 3rd room you will see the Gear on the bottom of the screen after taking just a few steps go forward and you will see to gray blocks you will need a ability to break these, if you don't have one, or don't have one that can break it walk forward and get the Spear ability to break them. Once they are broken just go down there and get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (117/120)
In the 5th room you will come across giant fireballs moving up and down, I am talking about the ones that take up the whole screen, the 2nd one will have a secret door above it, it can be found when the fire ball is down. Inside the secret room get the Stomper Boot and jump across the lava that is coming up and Gordo at the end there will be some lava that comes up use as it as an elevator, at the top open the path to the other Stomper Boot then jump across the fire balls and Gordo to get to the Yellow Blocks protecting the Gear. Break them to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (118/120)
This is the hardest Gear by far. In the 6th room get the Prism Shield and make it to the top there will be a Carry Dee with a Key get it and go into the 7th room. You will now need to start jumping up the platforms immediately, the Door is far away and the Key will disappear if held to long, you will need to avoid every fire ball and all the Fire Barbars if you make it (this generally takes a few try's) you will be able to open the door and get the Gear as your reward.
Gear - 4&5 (120/120)
In the 8th room get the Ultra Sword power, use it to defeat all the Mini Bosses, make it to the top and you will find a volcano, use a sword to cut it in half revealing a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomers (there will be 2) to get both Gears.

Information:
Kirby's Return to Dream Land has been a game in the making, as news of it began as far back as E3 2005 when a trailer for a Kirby game on the GameCube was revealed, but sadly that game never made it out to market as the GameCube soon began to fail, and the Wii was coming very soon. But the game lives on in Return to Dream Land as many of the ideas in the trailer back at E3 were actually implemented in this game.
Kirby's Return to Dream Land is considered by many to be the first real Kirby game on a home console in over a decade, as Air Ride was not a true action adventure game, and Epic Yarn many people considered to be a slightly different twist on the game as it was not originally a Kirby game, and that you cannot fly or die in it. This game was also the 3rd game to be a 4-player game throughout the whole game, and is the first game were you can actually play as King Dedede and Waddle Dee. (This is not counting Canvas Curse as they did not massively change the game as they can in Return to Dream Land)
It is also good to note that this game take after Kirby Adventure in many ways such as the level selection system. Kirby's Return to Dream Land has much more to offer and many new ability's, no Kirby fan should miss this one!
Energy Spheres
Gears are collectables (called Energy Spheres in the game) that unlock new things in Magolor's ship, such as Mini-Games and Challenge Stages. They are also required to get 100% in the game. Magolor will also share some special information after you get all 120.
Level 1 - Cookie Country
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (1/120)
In the 2nd Room, after you open the door, it is required to proceed on in the game.
Gears - 2&3 (3/120)
In the 3rd room get the Sword Ultra ability, make it to where there are a bunch of Waddle Dees and star blocks below them (right before the exit) break them to reveal a portal to Another Dimension, make it to the end of the Another Dimension and defeat the Sphere Doomer to receive both of them.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (4/120)
In the 3rd Room pick up the Cracker (the cannon looking thing) and then continue until there are metal blocks on the ceiling, break those and then fly up to grab the Gear.
Gear - 2 (5/120)
In the 4th room climb all the way to the top to the tree and walk to the right pass the door, It is up in the very corner of the tree.
Gear - 3 (6/120)
In the 5th room beat the Mini Boss (Gigant Edge) and take his Sword ability. Then proceed and cut down the rope from that is holding the metal platform then fly up to the Gear.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (7/120)
In the 2nd room when you reach the door at the bottom do not go through it instead go below the platform on it to grab the Gear.
Gear - 2 (8/120)
In the 4th room go past the moving platforms and grab the Key, then take the Key back across the moving platforms to the door on the other side where the Gear is located.
Gear - 3 (9/120)
In the 5th room stop the Carry Dee holding a key from falling off the cliff and take the key a bit further to the right to unlock a door with the next Gear in it.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (10/120)
In the 1st room when you come to the ladder heading up, instead of going up go straight into a cave that leads to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (11/120)
In the 3rd room make it to where you are to climb a ladder, instead press the button to release the Puppet Waddle Dees, defeat them and then grab the Gear they were guarding. (Note: It is best to use the Prism Shield (The French horn) to defeat them.)
Gears - 3&4 (13/120)
In the 4th room get the Monster Flame ability, then make your way to the giant tree, break it with the Monster Flame ability to reveal a portal to Another Dimension, go in and make your way to the end and defeat the Sphere Doomer to receive both Gears.
Level 2 - Raisin Ruins
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (14/120)
In the 2nd room use the Cannon to get launched to the room where the Gear is located.
Gear - 2 (15/120)
In the 3rd room after the 3rd rock falls keep close to it another rock will fall behind it stay in between the two and at the end don't jump up to go to the door, instead continue to get the Gear and then jump up.
Gear - 3 (16/120)
In the 6th room defeat Bonkers and take his Hammer ability then use it on the metal blocks to open up a way to grab the Gear.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (17/120)
In the 2nd Room about half way down there is a stake sticking out of the ground. Use Hammer or Rock Kirby to pound it in. Go through the door and then Hammer the 2nd stake to make a path to the Gear, but note that you must fly up as it will attempt to cut you off, this can be attempted again if you exit and reenter the door.
Gear - 2 (18/120)
In the 3rd room continue until you come to a large body of water, go in it and swim until you come to a door go in it. Inside hit the top bomb block to open a path to the Gear.
Gears - 3&4 (20/120)
In the 6th room eat the Waddle Doo to get the Flare Beam ability, then make it to the room with a bunch of tiki heads surrounding it use it on the ones to the left to reveal the portal to Another Dimension. Go through it and make it to a defeat the Sphere Doomer to get both Gears.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (21/120)
In the 3rd room about half way up there is a large block next to a moving platform. Use a super suck to suck it in and go through grab the Tornado ability and go right then up to get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (22/120)
In the 4th room grab the Hi-Jump power and use it, when you can jump in 3 different paths jump in the middle one, the Gear will be in that path.
Gear - 3 (23/120)
In the 5th room defeat King Doo and take his Beam ability, then proceed until you come across a blocks with a bomb block in the middle and a life in the bottom use beam to break the bomb block and reveal a Gear.
Gear - 4 (24/120)
In the 6th room use the cannons when the cannons can send you in 3 different ways straight up use the right one to go straight up and it will send you right next to the Gear.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (25/120)
In the 2nd room get the Bomb ability and use it to access the secret room (the one with an orange star) lay a bomb next to the switch and then run down when it blows up it will hit the switch and open the door allowing you inside where the Gear is.
Gear - 2 (26/120)
In the 3rd room grab the Candle and proceed until you see the Gear just floating in darkness you will have to go down and past it and then when you go back up go back towards it and then you will see some blocks above you through the Candle at them to break them fly up and then go below the platform to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (27/120)
In the 5th room proceed until you see get the Invisibility Stone this will allow you to go through clear looking walls. Proceed until you see a door behind a clear wall go through the door. Inside there will be another clear wall go through it and get the Gear.
Gears - 4&5 (29/120)
In the 6th room get the Ultra Sword ability use it to cut down the ropes in the room with the Scarfys to reveal a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to the end and defeat the Sphere Doomer inside to get both Gears.
Level 3 - Onion Ocean
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (30/120)
In the 4th room you will see a bomb block inside a part of the ceiling that is hanging down. Break it to open up a door. Go through the door and go down and grab the Key run forward and press both buttons to reveal two platforms to allow you to climb up to the Gear.
Gears - 2&3 (32/120)
In the 5th room get the Snow Bowl ability and use it to roll over all the sand castles. Make it to the 6th room and roll over the giant sand castle to reveal the Portal to a Alternate Dimension, go through and make it to a defeat the Sphere Doomer to get the Gears.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (33/120)
In the 2nd room defeat Kibble Blade and take his Cutter ability, go forward and you will come to a platform hanging with by a rope cut it down and go down into the water and go left and break a few blocks to get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (34/120)
In the 3rd room get the Spear ability from one of the Pierces then proceed until you see a rock with a button under it use the spear ability from the right side of the block to press the button to reveal a door. Go through the door and hit the 3 bomb blocks and defeat the enemies to get to the Gear.
Gear - 3 (35/120)
In the 4th room get the 2nd Stomper Boot (there are 2 places to get it you need the 2nd one as the first one will break) and make your way to the 3 Bronto Burts use them to climb up to a giant yellow block and break it to reveal a second door. Go through the door and you will be in 5th room on the left side (the other door leads to the right) the Gear will be directly above you.
Gear - 4 (36/120)
In the 5th room you will come to a place where a Barbars will try to eat you, but there are breakable blocks above him that lead to the Gear. Slowly break them while avoiding getting eaten and you will get the Gear.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (37/120)
In the 4th room defeat Moundo and take his Rock ability, the go forward and you will see 3 blocks above a pool of water use your rock ability to turn into a rock and go down. The rock will not be affected by the water pushing up and will sink right down to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (38/120)
In the 5th room go up the water way and take the 3rd path (the one on the right) it will lead you to the Gear.
Gears - 3&4 (40/120)
In the 7th room get the Monster Flame ability and then make it to where there is an octopus hiding under a sunken ship. Use the Monster Flame ability on the octopus to reveal a Portal to a Another Dimension, go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to get both Gears.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (41/120)
In the 2nd room you will come to a place where you can go up or down but going up is blocked by a bomb block, break the bomb block and go up and go through. Press the button to drop all the Puppet Waddle Dees into the water then pull the lever to have the Key drop. Jump over the button grab the Key then open the door to grab the Gear.
Gear - 2 (42/120)
In the 3rd room you will come to a door the leads to a room spilt in half on the left side is Candy, on the right side is a Gear. Get the candy and then exit the room and go around and on the other side of the rock where the door with the Candy was is another door hidden by sea weed go through break the bomb blocks and defeat all the Barracu to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (43/120)
In the 4th room go up once you come to the part where the spiky shell is chasing you for the 2nd time find a place to duck down at the bottom of the screen and then follow it. It will break the metal blocks and reveal another Gear.
Gear - 4 (44/120)
In the 5th room there will be Balloon Bombs that you can carry the blow up stuff they will get bigger the longer you hold them. You will need to get the 2nd Balloon Bomb and take it to the giant yellow blocks. Throw it at them to blow it up and give you access to the Gear.
Gear - 5 (45/120)
In the 6th room get the Spear ability and keep it. You will come across a lot of Giant Barbars. Make it pass them and you will come to an area with a ton of normal sized Barbars, go up and you will come to a some blocks keeping the Gear from you. Use your Spear ability to reach the bomb block and open the path to the Gear.
Level 4 - White Wafers
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (46/120)
In the 1st room get the Fire ability in one of the igloos, in the next igloo use the Fire ability to break the ice blocks to get in and then use it to go down to where the Gear is located.
Gear - 2 (47/120)
In the 3rd use the cannons to get to the point where 3 spikey guys block your path, shoot up to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (48/120)
In the 3rd room not long after where the 2nd gear was located you will come to a point where you will have 4 places you can shoot. Shoot down and left to go to a cannon you can control, shoot down and right to get into a cannon that will shoot you underneath part of the area. It will take you to a door that leads to room 4s lower half. Along this path you will come to the Gear.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (49/120)
In the 2nd room get the Fire ability proceed forward and you will see a fuse sticking out of the ceiling light it and then make it to the cannon before the fuse dose. It will send you to a room, press the button and get to the other side of the door that is open, jump up and get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (50/120)
In the 3rd room grab the shoe and go forward and break the large Yellow Block not far away to reveal a door go through the door and use the Mopoos to jump up to the top (like a stair case) and then break the large yellow blocks to get the Gear.
Gears - 3&4 (52/120)
Defeat Super Bonkers to get the Grand Hammer ability proceed forward and defeat the giant Jack in the Box like enemy to reveal a portal to Another Dimension, go through and Defeat the Sphere Doomer to get the Gears.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (53/120)
In the 1st room get the spear ability, in the 2nd room make it to the place where a spikey shell is stuck, use the spear downward to hit the button and a platform will push the shell up and then it will move down to reveal a Gear.
Gear - 2 (54/120)
In the 3rd room get the Invisibility Stone and use it to go through the rolling ice balls. Proceed forward and get the Fire ability and then climb up the ladder to another ladder covered with ice, put down the Stone and use the Fire ability to get rid of the ice, then grab the Invisibility Stone and head up the ladder, take the bottom path (the one with the invisible wall) and go through the ice balls and you will eventually come to the Gear.
Gear - 3 (55/120)
In the 4th room get the cutter ability and proceed forward until you see a door with a Metal platform hanging by a rope use Cutters powered up boomerang to cut it (you can control where it goes!) Make sure you are not under the platform as it will instant kill you. Go through the door and use cutters charged boomerang again to hit the switch and drop the giant ice ball, then fly up and get the Gear.
Gear - 4 (56/120)
In the 5th room defeat Water Galboros and take his Water ability then grab the Key and put it on the platform with a Waddle Dee on it. Use your Water ability to hit the button and raise the platform that you and the Key are on pick up the Key and get off before it goes back down. Use the Key to open the door and then break the bomb block to reveal the Gear.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (57/120)
In the 2nd room there is a cannon along the path, be careful not to pass it as the wind is very strong. Get in it and it will shoot you right up to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (58/120)
In the 4th room beat the Carry Dee to the end where he will waste the Key on a door with Scarfys. Take his Key and go down to a door below the Scarfys and open the other door to get the Gear.
Gears - 3&4 (60/120)
In the 5th room get the Snow Bowl ability and make it to the part where there is a giant snow ball stuck in a hole use the Snow Bowl ability on it to create a snowman. The snowman will then blow up and reveal a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to get the Gears.
Stage 5
Gear - 1 (61/120)
Note: In this level consider that you enter a new room each time you go through a door with 3 yellow stars above it.
In room 3 get the Cracker and then watch closely to see where there is a secret door along the floor (It is between two moving Ice Cubes it will appear and disappear) go through and then use the Cracker to get rid of all the meta blocks and make a path to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (62/120)
In the 3rd room get the Fire ability in the 4th room there will be some ice, melt it with your Fire ability to reveal a door. Break the bomb block and it will let you through but then try to block you off. Go up to avoid it blocking you off the 1st time, down through the platform the 2nd and up again the 3rd time. Then make it through the entrance to the Gear before it closes off.
Gear - 3 (63/120)
In the 6th room grab the Candle and go forward you will eventually come to a place where you have to go up, but do not continue right instead break the ice to the left (this can be done with the Candle) to reveal a door, go through it. Get the Ice ability and freeze a Mopoo and then push it forward to hit the button to break the blocks allowing you to get the Gear.
Gear - 4 (64/120)
In the 7th room grab the Key and go forward avoiding the Scarfys when you come to the point where you can open 2 doors, open the one on the left to give you access to the Gear and another Key.
Level 5 - Nutty Noon
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (65/120)
In the 3rd room go up, not to long latter you will come to a door go through and you will see the Gear not too far away, be careful with the falling platforms and avoid or get rid of the Comos.
Gear - 2 (66/120)
In the 4th room if you watch carefully there will be an opening in the ceiling at a certain point go up and you will see a door bellow a platform being held by a vine cut it down with a ability that can cut rope. (Wing, Sword, Spear, and Cutter all cut rope and are all offered in this level.) It will be directly to your left, just be careful of the falling platforms.
Gear - 3 (67/120)
In the 5th room you will come to a part right before the door to the next room where you are going straight up. Along the way on the left there will be a little path partly hidden go there and fly straight up to get the Gear.
Gear - 4 (68/120)
In the 6th room you will at one point be trapped between 2 spike balls, a big one behind you and a small one in front. Stay in-between the two. The small one will hit a button and close a path to the Gear, but you can go through the top, just make sure you do it before the big one gets there as it will close off that path.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (69/120)
In the 2nd room grab the Balloon Bomb and carry it to the metal and big yellow block and blow it up. Go through the door it reveals and get the Bomb ability if you do not already have it. Step on the switch to open the door, you will need to through a bomb and hit the bomb block to get access to the Gear. Aim a bit up from the default and you should hit it. Then go down the path that has opened and grab the Gear.
Gear - 2 (70/120)
In the 4th room Defeat Moundo and take the Stone ability. Then in the next part of the stage pound in the 1st 2 stakes to open a path, pounding the 3rd will prevent you from getting the Gear. Go down the hole and to the left to get the Gear.
Gears - 3&4 (72/120)
In the 5th room get the Flare Beam ability, use it on the 3rd set of buttons to light them all up and open a path down. Go down and you will come to another place where you can use it to light up the buttons, this time it will reveal a path to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to get both Gears.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (73/120)
In the 3rd room you will be racing a Carry Dee down, make it to the bottom first to get the Key and open the door directly in front of you containing the Gear. If you do not make it in time the Carry Dee will be dropped to its death.
Gear - 2 (74/120)
In the 4th room you will see some unbreakable blocks with a bomb block behind it. Get the Beam ability and use it to hit the bomb block and give you access to the hidden door. Inside the room avoid the white Pactos to make it to a lever and give you access to the Gear.
Gear - 3 (75/120)
In the 5th room get the Hi-Jump ability, not to far up you will see the Gear. You will have to press the button and then Hi-Jump to the lever, pull it, fall down before the button is released, then jump and then Hi-Jump into the area the Gear is. Just make sure you don't do a regular jump after the button and do a regular jump after pulling the lever.
Gear - 4 (76/120)
In the 7th room go right just a few steps and fly up, the Gear is right there hidden behind some clouds.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (77/120)
In the 1st room get the 2nd Stomper Boot and make it to where the big Yellow Block is, break it and go down and jump on the Gordo and make your way across to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (78/120)
In the 2nd room not to far in it is located in-between two Gigatzo. Just drop down to get it, just be careful and not get hit by their fire balls.
Gear - 3&4 (80/120)
In the 3rd room defeat Super Bonkers and get the Grand Hammer ability. In the 4th room use it on all of the giant stakes to help you get down. One of them will take you up on an elevator. Then use it on the giant spring to send Kirby flying up and causing him to destroy a bell, which will reveal a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to get both Gears.
Stage 5
Gear - 1 (81/120)
In the 3rd room defeat Gigant Edge and take his sword ability, use it to cut down the rope holding the platform in the 4th room to get to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (82/120)
In the 6th room defeat Moundo and take his Stone ability, use it in the 7th room to break the metal blocks, allowing you to get to the Gear.
Gear - 3 (83/120)
In the 9th room defeat Water Galborus and take his Water ability, use it to cool the lava blocks in the 10th room and grant you access to the Gear.
Gear - 4 (84/120)
In the 12th room defeat Dubior and take his Spark ability, in the 13th room use its lightning strike ability (jump + down + 1) to hit the bomb block and give you access to the Gear.
Level 6 - Egg Engines
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (85/120)
In the 3rd room you will come to a point where you will be able to time when you go through a crusher, and a door will be below you, time it so when it closes you hit it and can go down into the door. In the other room get in the cannon at the bottom and time your shot to hit the moving piece of metal, you will then be able to fly up and get the Gear.
Gears - 2&3 (87/120)
In the 6th room get the Monster Flame ability and make it to where there is a giant bomb, use it to blow it up. This will reveal a portal to Another Dimension, go through. Make it to the Sphere Doomer and defeat the Sphere Doomer to receive both Gears.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (88/120)
In the 5th room get the Water or ice ability, then go into the 6th room, one of the moving platforms moves you up to some fire blocks break them to get access to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (89/120)
In the 7th room get the Stone ability, take it to the 8th room and make to the area with the Gear covered by metal blocks, go up avoiding the moving spiky machines and you will find an air pocket, use your stone ability to go down and break the metal blocks and get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (90/120)
In the 11th room defeat Dubior and take his Spark ability. In the 12th room you will have to use its Thunderbolt ability (up + 1) to hit bomb blocks, you need to hit the 3rd one to get the Gear.
Gear - 4 (91/120)
In the 13th room pull the lever right at the beginning to get a Key, carry the Key to the end of the room where the door is. Open the door to get the Gear.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (92/120)
In the 2nd room proceed with caution as the wind will be blowing you, there is a lever along the way that will open a path to the Gear, and put some blocks in the way to allow you to go up and get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (93/120)
In the 4th room there will be a platform that is falling down slowly, about half through the platform is the Gear in-between 2 parts of it, get to it before it goes off the bottom of the screen.
Gears - 3&4 (95/120)
In the 5th room get the Flare Beam ability, make it to the 6th room, in this room use it to light up all the buttons, this will make the platform you are on go down and open a light gate and move a part of the stage to reveal a portal to Another Dimension. Go through it and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer.
Stage 4
Gear - 1 (96/120)
In the 2nd room get the Candle and then find the location of the Hammer ability star then go forward a bit more, you will come to a point where you will see some metal blocks surrounding the Gear. Put the Candle down and use your Hammer ability to break the blocks and get to the Gear.
Gear - 2 (97/120)
In the 2nd room, pass the first exit door, there will be a water path that leads you to another door, this will take you to the bottom part of the 3rd room, the Gear is along this path, just don't pass it with the water current.
Gear - 3 (98/120)
In the 4th room defeat Kibble Blade and take his Cutter ability. Then go forward you will see a button on the other side of some water. The best way to get it is to go back where there is more ceiling space and face the opposite direction and through a boomerang, jump over it as it comes back and it should hit the button and reveal the Gear.
Gear - 4 (99/120)
In the 5th room it is a mini maze, when you have the option to go down or go right to the door, go down, it will take you to the Gear.
Gear - 5 (100/120)
In the 6th room you will come to a part with a Giant Barbar, and he will be right in front of a door, go through it into a hidden room, get the Spark ability, and use it to get the Candle and then use the Candle to see what you would get if you open the path above, one will have a Key get it and then open the door to get the Gear.
Stage 5
Gear - 1 (101/120)
In the 2nd room there will be falling platforms the 5th one will have a Gear come down with it, it will be its own separate opening on the left.
Gear - 2 (102/120)
In the 3rd room there will be an Armored Waddle Dee hiding a secret door. Inside that room grab the Key on the left and drop it on to the moving conveyor belts, then fly over to the other side and grab it before it falls off the edge, use it to open the door to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (103/120)
In the 4th room there will be more falling platforms it will be in the 3rd set right in the middle you will have to fly straight up really fast to get it.
Gear - 4 (104/120)
In the 5th room get the Invisibility Stone, then proceed forward there will be a invisible wall you can walk through there will be a lever on top pull it to open a path to the Gear.
Gear - 5 (105/120)
In the 6th room it is yet another falling platform room, in the 4th set it will be in the 3rd area of falling platforms, grab it as fast as you can and exit the room for your own safety.
Level 7 - Dangerous Dinner
Stage 1
Gear - 1 (106/120)
In the 2nd room you will come to a part where the lava rocks are falling down at you, along the path to avoid them is a Key, make sure to get this. Once you are past the lava rocks there will be a locked door straight above you open it to get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (107/120)
In the 3rd room defeat Water Galboros and take his Water ability, you will then come across a Key, get it and surf over the lava to the other side where the door is located, open it and head through to the secret room, use your Water ability to harden the lava blocks and create a path up to the Gear. Grab the Key and take it up to the door and unlock it to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (108/120)
In the 4th room make it to the part where there is a bomb block surrounding metal blocks, hit the bomb block to reveal a hidden door. Inside the screen will be split into upper and lower, the lower half containing a Carry Dee, you will have to press the buttons properly to make sure he makes it to the end. Press the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th (with good timing), and the 7th (with good timing) to get him to a point where you can get the Key from him, then jump over the hole and open the door to get the Gear.
Gears - 4&5 (110/120)
In the 5th room get the Snow Bowl ability, make it to the very top of the room to find a volcano, use the Snow Bowl ability on that to make it freeze and destroy the volcano revealing a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to both Gears.
Stage 2
Gear - 1 (111/120)
In the 1st room on the way down the Gear will be surrounded by Degout. Be careful trying to get it, as they cannot be sucked up.
Gear - 2 (112/120)
In the 2nd room get the Ninja ability, along the way you will see some flowing lava with some gaps and a secret door on the other side, this lava is actually in front of where Kirby is so you can fly behind it into the hidden room. In the room fly to the top and grab on to the wall you will have to throw a knife to cut the rope releasing the metal platform which will hit the button and open the way to the Gear.
Gear - 3 (113/120)
In the 3rd room get the Hi-Jump ability, not to far up there will be a path on the left with a ladder and one on the right with walls that can crush you, you will have to Hi-Jump the right side to get to the Gear.
Gears - 4&5 (115/120)
In the 6th room defeat Super Bonkers and take the Grand Hammer ability make it to the 3rd set of wires, hit them in place to reveal a secret path down, take it. You will come to a statue with 4 fire pipes on it, hit them all in to make a giant one at the top lose its crystal protection, hit that one to make the rest of the statue fall down and reveal a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomer to get both Gears.
Stage 3
Gear - 1 (116/120)
In the 3rd room you will see the Gear on the bottom of the screen after taking just a few steps go forward and you will see to gray blocks you will need a ability to break these, if you don't have one, or don't have one that can break it walk forward and get the Spear ability to break them. Once they are broken just go down there and get the Gear.
Gear - 2 (117/120)
In the 5th room you will come across giant fireballs moving up and down, I am talking about the ones that take up the whole screen, the 2nd one will have a secret door above it, it can be found when the fire ball is down. Inside the secret room get the Stomper Boot and jump across the lava that is coming up and Gordo at the end there will be some lava that comes up use as it as an elevator, at the top open the path to the other Stomper Boot then jump across the fire balls and Gordo to get to the Yellow Blocks protecting the Gear. Break them to get the Gear.
Gear - 3 (118/120)
This is the hardest Gear by far. In the 6th room get the Prism Shield and make it to the top there will be a Carry Dee with a Key get it and go into the 7th room. You will now need to start jumping up the platforms immediately, the Door is far away and the Key will disappear if held to long, you will need to avoid every fire ball and all the Fire Barbars if you make it (this generally takes a few try's) you will be able to open the door and get the Gear as your reward.
Gear - 4&5 (120/120)
In the 8th room get the Ultra Sword power, use it to defeat all the Mini Bosses, make it to the top and you will find a volcano, use a sword to cut it in half revealing a portal to Another Dimension. Go through and make it to and defeat the Sphere Doomers (there will be 2) to get both Gears.
