About Kirby's Dream Land 3
Kirby's Dream Land 3 is probably one of the least known Kirby games out there for many reasons. The major reason being was that it was the last SNES game made by Nintendo in the US, and it was never released in the PAL regions due to issues until they released it in 2009 on the Virtual Console for the Wii. This game features the Animal Friends for Dream Land 2, with the additions of; Chuchu the Octopus how makes it so Kirby cannot fly infinitely, but instead can walk on the ceiling, Pitch a small bird who, well doesn't do much other then adds new ways to use Kirby's Abilities, and lastly Nago the Cat who rolls Kirby like a ball, and can double jump.
The game also featured a very different art style from most games at the time, as it was made as though every character were just a drawing; the art style is really unique in that aspect and actually makes it a very amazing visual experience for a 16 bit game. It also had multiplayer in the form that at any time Kirby could summon a companion, a blue blob, Gooey. Gooey can be controlled by a 2nd player or a CPU, Gooey is very much similar to Kirby though a tad bit more limited.
The story behind the game is also another big part to it, a giant black cloud comes and takes over Pop Star and Kirby sets out to stop it. The game takes after Dream Land 2 in many ways and expands upon it, such as every Stage of the 5 Levels contains a Heart Star which is obtainable if you do certain tasks, and if you are able to obtain them all... The truth just might be revealed...
Heart Stars
Grass Land
Stage 1
Don't step on any pink tulips in the 3rd room.
Stage 2
Get Chuchu from the 2nd room and take her to the where there are a whole bunch of blocks in the 3rd room. Break the blocks and go in the door.
Attack without an ability to make the green guy blush.
Stage 3
Pay attention to the Gordo that passes between the two squares. Get all three right to win.
Stage 4
In the 3rd room, grab Stone and destroy the Stone blocks. Swim to the door and defeat Boboo (the large fireball). Go through the next door to find the little girl's monkey.
Stage 5
Get Kine from the 2nd room in the 1st door and bring him to the end of the stage.
Stage 6
In the 2nd room, collect the green triangle, blue rectangle, and orange circle. Go up four levels, go to the left, and fly up until you find the green triangle in the foliage. Then go down to the first opening, go right, go up four more levels, go right again, and drop all the way down to get the other two shapes. (You will need to dismount any animal friends to get to each shape.)
Ripple Field
Stage 1
Get Clean ability from the first room and Pitch from the 2nd room. Go to the 2nd room and go through the door in each pool of water. Water all the sprouts, being careful not to step on any.
Stage 2
Get Parasol ability from the 1st room and Kine from the 2nd room. Keep both until the 3rd room, then go through the 1st door and use your ability in front of the yellow parasol person.
Stage 3
Watch where the eel comes up last. Guess right three times to win.
Stage 4
Get Kine and Spark from the 2nd room. (Kine is in the bottom door and Spark is just before the exit.) In the 4th room, use the lightbulb to find the secret door at the end. Defeat Captain Stitch (the large Gordo) and get Needle from him.
Break the Needle blocks in the next room to get the frog.
Stage 5
Grab Kine from the 4th room. (It will force you to anyway.) In the 5th room, go straight until you find a door and go in to get Fire ability.
Go up until you find Fire blocks and break them, then leave Kine and go up another level.
Go through the small space and continue until you find a Rocky.
Get Stone and go back to break the remaining blocks in front of Kine. Get him and continue.
In the 6th room, go down from the first circle and left from the second circle. Go in the door to find Pitch, and take him to the end of the stage.
Stage 6
In the 5th room, make the blocks in the bottom doors look like the blocks in the top door, which also look like the character.
Sand Canyon
Stage 1
In the first room, squish the flowers and avoid the mushrooms.
Stage 2
Get clean from the 3rd room, then go in the lowest door. Pass the yellow broom guy, then clean the purple sludge from the next couple rooms.
Stage 3
Count how many Gordos with round eyes and small mouths turn around. Guess correctly three times to win.
Stage 4
In the 3rd room, take the bottom tunnel. In the next room, take the top tunnel, and after that, take the middle tunnel. Defeat Haboki (the large broom) and go through the door to find the child.
Stage 5
Get Chuchu from the door in the middle of the 3rd room and take her to the end of the stage.
Stage 6
All of R.O.B.'s parts are connected to the 4th room, so get there first, then you will use the Zebon to reach all of the doors. (Don't go through the very right one until you have all of the parts.) All of the abilities and animal friends can be found in the bottom middle door. You can get them in any order; this is just a suggested order.
With no animal friend, go to the top middle door. Jump up the platforms to the door, go in to grab the part, and go back out. Duck through the blue areas to get to the bottom safely.
Then go to the top right door. It doesn't matter which door you go through after that as long as it isn't the middle one. (In other words, always go through a door that requires an ability.) When you get to the room with the part, just duck through the blue platform above it.
Next, get Kine and Parasol and go to the bottom right door. Run and jump, then use Parasol to float over the gap. In the next room, swim through the current (press A repeatedly) to reach the part.
Then get Spark (and keep Kine) and go to the top left door. Use your lightbulb to see what symbols are on the doors and go through the ones with circles.
Finally, get Coo and Stone and go through the bottom left door. Carefully break the Stone blocks, then lose Stone and just suck up and spit out the other blocks until Coo can fit through. In the next room, fly through the wind (also by pressing A repeatedly) to reach the part.
Cloudy Park
Stage 1
Get Rick from the 2nd room and go to the room with the flowers. Get Clean from there and dust all the flowers off, being careful not to step on them. Also make sure you don't lose Rick down a hole.
Stage 2
Get Needle from the 6th room and pop the chick's balloon in the 8th room.
Stage 3
Count the Gordos of each color. The person will ask about a specific color. Guess correctly three times to win.
Stage 4
Get Coo from the 2nd room and keep him until Jumpershoot (the large parasol). After you defeat him, go against the wind (press A repeatedly) in the next room to reach the orange guy.
Stage 5
Get Rick from the 3rd room and take him to the end. (You will need to do a lot of wall climbing and we recommend getting off of Rick sometimes to survey the terrain ahead.)
Stage 6
In the 8th room (the 2nd and 6th room are technically the same room, if you're counting), go in the first door to see the shape of the character. You will need to make her shape, right side up, in the next door. (5 blocks on top, 3 after that, 1 after that, 1 after that, and 3 on the bottom.)
Iceberg
Stage 1
Get Fire from the 2nd room and burn through all the frozen flowers. Make sure not to step on them.
Stage 2
Get Ice from the 2nd room. In the 3rd room, go in all 3 doors that are near the lava. Freeze and kick the Metroids in each door.
Stage 3
(In the game room) Listen to the sound of each Gordo as it hits the ground. Chef Kawasaki will pound on his Gordo and you have to pick the one with the same sound. Guess right three times to win. (Double click the video to make it full-screen.)
Stage 4
Get Fire from the 1st or 3rd room. At the bottom of the 3rd room, melt the ice at the left and get Coo from that door.
In the 8th room, break the blocks, then burn through a whole bunch of ice blocks until you get to a door.
Go in and step on the crumbling blocks until you reach the bottom. Grab Chuchu and use A + B to burn through the ice above you.
Go get Coo again, burn through the ice below you, get Chuchu again, burn through the ice above you, and go in the door.
Lean to the right as you fall (drop your animal friend if necessary, they will just land at the bottom) and grab the shell.
Stage 5
Get Nago from 1-1 and take him all the way through the stage to the end. (Be prepared, it's a long stage!)
Stage 6
In the 8th room (the one with all the Sparkys), get Spark. Break the Spark blocks in the next room and grab the feather.
In the next room, defeat Blocky (the large stone), get Stone, and break the Stone blocks in the room after that for another feather. Continue in this way with: Parasol, Ice, Cutter (there is no boss, only Sir Kibble), Clean, Fire, and Needle.
